The UK and North America share lots of things. We share a common language for one, but you might be surprised at how different our colloquialisms really are.
For example, you should NEVER tell a Brit to sit on their fanny - this will result in a very odd stare and quite possibly a slap around the face for good measure. And what the heck are you wearing underneath your pants? And what DO you do with an aubergine?
